I read your article on big guitar sound which includes the use of your vst.
Can you tell me how this is different than using my built in DAW's nudge ability for the guitar tracks.
I do like the eq which seems especially geared towards guitar work ...good job Mal!
No difference
Sonically there is no difference, so if you like that method and it is working for you then absolutely do it that way. The advantage of using the plugin is being able to keep a single track (versus making a duplicate track to nudge) and additionally helps people who do not have a nudge feature in their DAW (and don't want to manually nudge). I've always been a fan of "do what works for you" so I'm not trying to convince you to change if you're comfortable with your current workflow.
I do have a "haas on steroids" plugin coming though which will do things for you that nudging won't. Look for it in a month or three.
Error 404 - Not Found
Hi, I just got my Purchased Download (dll) link. Thanks! I'm wondering if you can repost or send me a copy of the Heavy Guitar processing guide. When I click on the link, all I see is . . . Error 404 - Not Found. The link points to this page . . . {mod edit: invalid link removed to avoid confusion}
Tutorial: Heavy rhythm guitar This tutorial shows you how to use the free Haas and free Queue VST plugins to create heavy metal rhythm guitar tracks. Sound clips included!
GIGANTIC OOPS! Sorry, I had
GIGANTIC OOPS! Sorry, I had a typo in the link.
Here is the correct link to the heavy guitar guide and I've also fixed the link on the plugin page itself.
Thanks for catching that!
