First off, i wanted to say that the freehaas delay opened up a whole new world when recording my guitar tracks...and i thank you for making these great plug ins and giving them out for free,,,,
Now on to my recent problem....i had to re-install everything on my pc but when i downloaded the new versions Acid will not recognize them...it will show that it is loading, but will not show up to select for the individual track that i need....
i accidently did not copy the old version which i know worked for sure...
do you atill have the older version???...if so i would like to get those so i can continue using these great plug ins.....also, i have credited your work on a couple of tracks that i am working on....and have passed on to fellow musicians about these....
Thansk for your time,

oops
oops
Try it again?
I just tried it out in Acid Pro 6 and it worked here, but I thought for a few tries that it did not. Try these steps:
Where I was initially screwing up is by clicking the X button on the chooser instead of OK. Is that happening to you by any chance?
Also, what build of Acid Pro 6 are you using? (Help -> About to find out)
That is the way it was
That is the way it was selected before...I have used Acid products for some time now...and have only encountered a very select few of plug ins that will load and then will not show in the plug in chooser.
I am running Acid Build 214, the same as before,
i reinstalled Acid again and reinstalled the new updated version of these plug ins, when acid loads you can see that it is loading these plug ins, but will not show in the plug in chooser, I even made its own folder inside the vst plugin folder to see if it would show there...but to no avail the same issue, I am confused to say the least....lol...
I really like these plugs and trying desperatly to get them working again...lol
however, the old version worked fine, i will try a few more things to see if it show in the chooser, i appreciate you taking the time to address this and your help is greatly appreciated.
Here is something
Here is something interesting as well, I reloaded my Steinberg WaveLab 5.0 it says it cannot load vfxfreehaas.dll...now i am wondering if something is amiss on my system......i have one more thing to try. and if that doesnt work, well, I will just keep trying I am very persistent when trying to solve problems...lol
Ok....got it!!!
For some unknown reason, and i hope this will help others in their journey of understanding the mystery that is computers...I re-installed the microsoft.NET framework 2.0 and now the plugs show up in everything, thanks for your help and time....and when things get back to normal here with the economy in Michigan i will be sending a donation to help you further develop your outstanding plug ins.
Sincerely,
Larry Gunn
Good!
ACID makes heavy use of the .NET frameworks but I thought ACID 6.0 was on .NET 1.1 version. I guess 2.0 must also cover the 1.1 case. At any rate, glad you got it sorted out!
You are correct...it was
You are correct...it was acid pro 7.0 that required the 2.0,, acid 6.0 has the 1.1.....i apologize...but i am not the best at all this computer stuff...lol
Cool enough
That's cool man, I'm just glad you're up and running!
