[SOLVED] Provoker not working on Cubase Studio 4?

Hi,
I've bought Provoker a few days ago after trying the demo and liking it, but the non-demo version doesn't show up in the VSTs list on Cubase Studio 4 (Windows XP)... all the other VescoFX plugins work without any problem...
Any idea? I still have to use the demo version for now, hope it gets fixed before it expires...

Deleted?

Did you remove the demo plugin from the directory, copy in the full version, and make sure to restart Cubase?

Deleted the demo, and now

Deleted the demo, and now it's working fine. Nice!
thank you

Of course I've restarted Cubase, but I didn't remove the demo version from the VST directory... could this be the problem? The .dll files have different names, so I thought it was ok to add the full version without removing the demo one...
I'll try and let you know.

Thanks for the fast response.

Awesome.

Glad to hear you're up and running without a hitch. Yeah, they have different dll names but the program code has a unique ID that the host uses to refer to each installed plugin. I left the ID the same on the demo and full version so a person who used the demo on a track and later upgraded to the full version wouldn't have to copy over all their settings from the demo plugin to the full. But yeah, it has the side effect that if you have both installed it will be a crapshoot as to which it uses. Anyway, thanks for supporting VescoFx!
